Instructions
- Prepare the Base: In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, and 1 cup of creamy natural peanut butter. Mix thoroughly until the mixture becomes smooth and evenly combined.
- Form the Base Layer: Press the peanut butter mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan, spreading it out evenly to form a solid base layer.
- Melt Chocolate Mixture: In a microwave-safe bowl, add the remaining 1 cup of peanut butter and 2 cups of semisweet chocolate chips. Microwave in 30-second increments, stirring after each, until the mixture is fully melted and smooth.
- Top the Base: Pour the melted chocolate and peanut butter mixture over the pressed base layer. Use a spatula to spread it evenly across the surface.
- Chill to Set: Refrigerate the pan for 1 to 2 hours until the bars are firm and set completely.
- Cut and Serve: Once set, cut the pan into 54 small bars or your preferred size, making sure to portion evenly.
